About KPBFB

Ross Bischoff was the Founder of the Key Peninsula Bischoff Food Bank.  In 2006, Ross started handing out food on a small table at the Key Peninsula Lutheran Church. Ross passed away shortly after starting our food bank and he left behind a legacy of service to the community. From a small start, the Key Peninsula Food Bank has grown to an organization that serves 1,500 people every month, with over 24,000 pounds of food.

Message from the BOARD

The Bischoff Food Bank is here for the community and is staffed and supported by the community.  As such, we strive to meet each and every client right where they are at, with compassion, respect, and love.

Our support for the community is simply a reflection of the community’s support of our mission and desire to see the Key Peninsula as a community of strong resilient people supporting each other when need arises.
